Ezgi Bio

Prof. Ezgi Yıldırım Saatçi received her undergraduate degree from Middle East Technical University, Department of Business Administration, and her master's degree from The London School of Economics, Department Administration and Design in Information System with the thesis on Change Management.

She graduated from Yeditepe University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Department of Business Administration in 2006 with her Corporate Governance thesis in 2011 with her PhD degree in management and organization. She started her professional career at Deloitte Consulting as a management consultant; After taking part in different consultancy projects in large companies in the public, health, energy, and education sectors such as Sabanci University, Anadolu John Hopkins Health Centre, and the Turkish Patent Institute, she assumed the marketing manager of Netbul.com, Turkey's first e-commerce website.


She worked in the positions of business development director of Bascuda, one of the Turkish holding companies joint venture, and then continued as the CEO of the consulting company Tech-Co, which she founded, for 5 years.
Simultaneously, she continued to work as the organizer of the UK Summer Schools ELC for 20 years since 1992.

Academically, he received the title of "Assistant Professor" in 2012, "Associate Professor" in 2016, and "Professor" in 2021. Yıldırım Saatçi's academic interests are "Social Entrepreneurship", "Entrepreneurship", "Innovation" and "Strategic Management".

Prof. Ezgi Yıldırım Saatçi’s sector studies in these areas continued as well as consultancy along with third party organizations, with the European Union (COSME and KA2) and United Nations (UNDP, UNICEF, UNIDO) Projects. She conducted "Young Social Enterprises with Young Entrepreneurs" projects with EU, to support the entrepreneurial experiences of young entrepreneurs between the ages of 15-30. She conducted research on Social Entrepreneurship platform infrastructure and intercultural social entrepreneurs in the project, which was carried out and completed together with stakeholders from Germany, Czech Republic and France.

With the second and still ongoing EU Project Erasmus (2019-2021): Cosme for Young Entrepreneurship project, Prof. Dr. Ezgi Saatçi is responsible and executive in Turkey for the studies to be carried out within the scope of Entrepreneurship Local Evaluation Centre for 3 years, with a budget of 2.3 billion euros aimed at ensuring exchange and cooperation among 19 countries.

She also developed and implemented projects with Municipalities (Pendik, Kadıköy, Tuzla) and NGOs (Kagider, Tema, Akut, Sogla, etc.) within the scope of Social Responsibility and Social Entrepreneurship. Since 2011, She is the Director of Social Responsibility and Social Entrepreneurship Application and Research Centre of Muhammed Yunus, and has organized Social Entrepreneurship Camps within the scope of Yunus Academy and Competitions that provide Scholarships to High School Youth.

Prof. Ezgi Yıldırım Saatçi took part in public and private sector university collaborations, such as the TÜBİTAK 3501 Project within the scope of, KOSGEB /Kobigel Project" Project Monitoring Board Membership KOSGEB "Strategic product and Techno-Investment Capital Support Projects in grant and support programs for SMEs. She has been and still is working continuously for 3 years within the scope of the "İnoSuit - Innovation Focused Mentoring Program", which is based on University - Industry cooperation, carried out with 70 academicians throughout Turkey organized by The Turkish Exporters Assembly.

With KeysNLinks, which she founded in 2021, she brought her academic and sectoral experiences to London with her business partners, who are the pioneers of their fields.
